Ubytování Verliba
Privacy Policy
1. Who is the data controller
The controller of personal data is Veronika Flečková, a sole trader, Business ID (IČO) 21509131, registered at Nové Lesy 32, 544 01 Bílá Třemešná (hereinafter "we" or "the operator"). For matters concerning personal data protection you can contact us by email at ubytovani-verliba@email.cz or by phone at +420 777 075 414.
2. What data we process and why
Availability calendar and reservation form (e-chalupy.cz)
Each mobile home's page has an availability calendar and a reservation form operated by the e-chalupy.cz service – they are displayed directly, with no need to agree to anything. This is the main service you come to the unit's page for (to check availability, send a booking request), so the legal basis is the performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request prior to entering into one (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The calendar loads content directly from the e-chalupy.cz server, which transmits your IP address to it; e-chalupy.cz does not store any cookie on your device in doing so. The reservation form sends the entered data (name, email, phone, dates, message) directly to the e-chalupy.cz system, which processes it further according to its own privacy policy. The form does not use Google reCAPTCHA or any other technology requiring consent. Both elements also load their display font directly from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google as well – see "Recipients of data and transfers outside the EU/EEA" below. Providing this data is a necessary condition for processing a booking – without it, the booking cannot be handled. We keep data from a completed stay for a further 3 years from its end (for possible complaints and accounting records), after which we delete or anonymise it.
Guest register (statutory obligation)
On arrival, as the accommodation provider we record your details in the guest (accommodation) register – name, surname, permanent address, ID document number and length of stay; for foreign nationals to the extent required by Act No. 326/1999 Coll., on the Residence of Foreign Nationals in the Czech Republic. This data is used to fulfil a statutory registration duty and to calculate the local accommodation fee (Act No. 565/1990 Coll.). The legal basis for processing is compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), not consent – providing the data is a legal requirement and accommodation cannot be provided without it. We keep the records for the period set by law, generally 6 years from the last entry.
Map and trip suggestions (third-party content behind the cookie banner)
The map showing our location and the Kudy z nudy partner banner in the footer do not load automatically. On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the screen lets you choose which of them to allow ("Accept all" / "Reject" / "Settings" with a separate choice for the map and for trip suggestions). You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. Only after your consent (for that specific service) is content downloaded directly from the given third party's server to your browser, which transmits your IP address and may store a cookie according to that third party's own rules, which we do not control. You can find the given third party's privacy policy on its website: Mapy.com, kudyznudy.cz. Even without consent, any of the elements can be shown manually via the button next to it.
Guest reviews
We publish selected reviews from publicly available profiles on Google, Mapy.com, Booking.com and e-chalupy.cz (the links lead to that platform's privacy policy). We only ever publish the first name and the initial of the surname (not the full name), together with a link back to the public source of the review. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting already publicly available ratings. We keep a review published for as long as it remains current and relevant to other guests, but no longer than the website itself exists. If, as a guest, you do not agree with your review being published on this website, please write to us and we will remove it.
Technical hosting logs
Our hosting provider (Websupport) may, as standard, log basic technical data about access to the website (IP address, time of request) for as long as is necessary to ensure server security and operation.
3. Recipients of data and transfers outside the EU/EEA
Websupport, s.r.o. (our hosting provider) acts as a processor for us (Art. 28 GDPR) in operating part of the website – these obligations are built directly into their terms of service, which we accepted by entering into our hosting agreement, so no separate contract is needed.
Booking requests you submit through the form on the unit's page go directly to the system of e-chalupy.cz (see above). Under its own privacy policy, e-chalupy.cz acts as an independent controller of this data, not as our processor – this is not a classic "transfer to a processor", but a disclosure of data to another controller, to whom you provide it directly by submitting the form.
An actual transfer of data outside the EU/EEA occurs, as a technically unavoidable consequence, with only one element: both the availability calendar and the reservation form (both operated by e-chalupy.cz, see above) load their display font directly from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google LLC (USA) – this is not our choice, but a fixed part of this widget on e-chalupy.cz's side, which we cannot influence. This transfer is subject to Google's safeguards for transfers outside the EU (the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses) – see Google's privacy policy for more. No other element of the website (map, reviews, kudyznudy.cz) transfers personal data outside the EU/EEA.
We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
4. Cookies
This website itself does not use any tracking, analytics or marketing cookies, and we
do not use any visitor analytics. We store your choice from the cookie banner (which
third-party services you have allowed) only technically, in your browser
(localStorage), not as a cookie and not on our server.
The third parties themselves (Mapy.com, kudyznudy.cz) may, once allowed, store their
own cookies according to their own rules – we have no control over these. Mapy.com,
for example, stores a visitor-ID cookie valid for 1 year as soon as it is shown.
5. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right:
- to access your personal data,
- to rectify inaccurate data,
- to erasure of data (the "right to be forgotten"),
- to restrict processing,
- to data portability,
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz), if you believe the processing violates GDPR.
You can exercise your rights using the contact details given in point 1.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the way the website works changes. The current version is always available on this page.
